Tea shop owner Theadosia Browning is caught up in another murder mystery in The Jasmine Moon Murder. Theadosia is the first person to get to the man dying in front of a crowd of people at the “Ghost Crawl” in Charleston, South Carolina’s famous Jasmine Cemetery. After watching the man die in front of her and finding a syringe at his feet she feels the need to figure out who is responsible for his death.
This is the 5th book in the Tea Shop Mystery Series by Laura Childs. As with most series it’s likely best to start with the first one though these books can easily be read as stand alones. I can personally attest to this as I have yet to read the first one in the series but have enjoyed all the ones I’ve read so far.
These books are a nice light read with lots of talk of teas and the wonderful food served in the Indigo Tea Shop. And as an extra you get a few sample recipes in the back of every book.
A little murder, a little tea and a little scone, just the way I like my books!
