The Devil in Pew Number Seven by Rebecca Nichols Alonzo

Biography Review by Glenn

Tyndale House (2010)

This is an almost unbelievable but true story of the abuse that a church minister’s family endured at the hands of a hateful and hurtful antagonist. Told through the voice of the daughter (Rebecca Nichols Alonzo ) who grew up witnessing these events, it recounts escalating attacks that progress to dynamite explosions and eventually murder. Robert Nichols passive response to his adversary is food for thought and may help to answer the question “What is a just response when evil focuses close to home? The book is captivating and highly recommended!
