The Last Girlfriend on Earth by Simon Rich

Meagan’s Fiction pick:

lastgf (Reagan Arthur Books, 2013)

The major downfall of being one of the catalogers for Parkland Regional Library? I keep coming across books I want to read, often when I’m nearly done the one I’m working on (only 200 pages of  “Clash of Kings” left!) and another one (or four) I’d like to read next. This was the fifth book or so on that list.

“The Last Girlfriend on Earth” is a very fast read, and often laugh-out-loud funny. Every wonder why a guy just bails with no explanation just as things start to get serious in a relationship? “Scared Straight” explains it. Any fans out there of Dr. Sheldon Cooper’s relationship contract? “Trade” is for you. Just want a good laugh? This is the book for you.

I really enjoyed “The Last Girlfriend on Earth”, and think that anyone who has had any sort of relationship should pick it up.
