No One Must Know

NoOneMustKnow    Junior fiction pick by Tara

No One Must Know by Eva Wiseman

It’s 1960 and Alex, a 13 year old girl, has a great life here in Canada. She has some wonderful  friends, does well in school, meets a boy and has pretty good parents. But her world is about to be turned upside down when she finds out a secret that her parents have kept  from her, her entire life. If people find out will her life be the same, will her friends still like her? Or will it all be forever changed? No one must know!

I loved this book. Once again my lack of knowledge on a subject that happened here in Canada, in Manitoba, has shocked me. I am thankful to this book for enlightening me on this subject.

This book is on the short list for the Manitoba reading challenge “On The Same Page”. It is a short (193 pages) Junior Fiction read. I hope everyone takes some time to read this great book by Eva Wiseman.
